Emery Air’s warbird maintenance department is suited to handle all your maintenance needs. From condition inspections on your T-28 Trojan to approved aircraft inspection programs for your A-26 Invader; from routine maintenance on your T-6 Texan to full certification on your Canadair T-33; from complete airframe restoration to total radial engine maintenance, Emery’s experienced warbird mechanics can provide the services that you need.
Our lead warbird mechanics; Cliff Wilewski, Mark Kohlhorst, and Kurt Gustafson have worked for leading warbird maintenance and sales companies. This provides you with years of maintenance, rebuilding, and troubleshooting experience on the majority of warbirds that are in civilian hands today.
Many of Emery’s mechanics are pilot’s and aircraft owners themselves. This allows our maintenance staff to explain your aircraft issues from a pilot’s perspective as well as a technician’s perspective. As opposed to other companies that feel they’re doing you a favor by working on your aircraft, we feel that it’s a privilege to maintain these types of aircraft that have played such an important role in our country’s history. You are doing us a favor by providing us with the opportunity to work on these historically significant aircraft.
